What makes this game pleasurable?
I mean I want to be pleasant just to play.
What would movement feel like? What words could scroll past to make me feel
good while playing.
I think elegant word choices will be necessary; a lyrical style perhaps, but
I'll also need to change it up frequently.
Satisfaction
List of activities that should be intrinsically satisfying.
- eating should be satisfying
- crafting should not be tedious, it should be satisfying
- growth of course
- consider something like 'yum chains' from One Hour One Life
- I like upgrading attributes and equipment
- but I don't like micromanagement
- I like there to be trade or simple economy without grinding
- There should be non-rivalrous consumption and trading allowed
- trading by 'kissing' to share the flavours on your lips
- milk, there should be lots of milk and other body fluids in play
- but no counting. No tedious trade screens
- There should only be three inventory states for each slot and/or substance
- empty
- partial
- full
Once you're full that's it, you can't drink/eat more.
what about excretion... from fertilizer to honey...
